Jodie Brinkerhoff is a visionary executive with over 15 years of experience driving innovation, strategy, and growth across both startup ventures and complex enterprise environments. She previously served as Vice President of Innovation at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (the world’s third busiest airport), where she leads cross-functional initiatives to investigate, ideate, incubate, and implement transformative products, solutions, and business models across the airport ecosystem.


Jodie brings a proven ability to translate complex challenges into strategic opportunities. Her work integrates emerging technologies—such as AI, data analytics, and IoT—into core operations to improve safety, security, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Her team partners across business units to deliver high-impact solutions and drive a culture of innovation throughout the enterprise. In 2024, her team received the prestigious Product Development & Management Association’s Outstanding Corporate Innovator Award, and Jodie was recently named by the Dallas Business Journal as one of the DFW region’s Top Women in Technology.


With a career spanning early-stage startups and corporate innovation and strategy, Jodie is passionate about identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and scaling innovations that deliver measurable business value. Prior to her role at DFW Airport, she led North American strategy for Mastercard’s Innovation Lab in New York City, where she advised Fortune 500 executives on fintech advancements and digital transformation opportunities. Earlier in her career, she was SVP Sales & Marketing at Fuel Cycle, a SaaS startup where she developed and grew relationships across industries including media & entertainment financial, travel & hospitality, etc., and held strategic consulting roles with global research firms including Mintel International and Harris Interactive (owners of the Harris Poll).
Jodie is currently Vice Chair of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) committee on Facilities and Technical Services. She is a founding Advisory Board member of Woman Leading Travel & Hospitality and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Jim McNatt Institute for Logistics Research at the University of North Texas.


Jodie holds a BA in Communications from Loyola University in Maryland and an MBA in Marketing from University of San Francisco.
